How To Make a Wedding Wishes Sign

Theres a real buzz around Wedding Wishes this year - If you havent seen them yet its basically a new style of guest book. You leave tags, a pen and a big jar on a table where everyone can see it. Your guest can then write you wedding wishes on the tag and drop it in the jar. So when youre back from honey moon you can relax and read all the lovely messages left for you.

Below is easy to follow instructions on how to make a pretty sign to put on the table

Take a blank wooden sign and paint it cream - we used Sheepskin by Plaid

Using a alcohol marker  lightly trace it over the edges to create a worn look -  we used Spectrum Noirs Brown Set

Attach a rose, piece of lace and a scrap of hessian with a glue gun

Trace you chosen phrase onto the wood using transfer paper or spray and paint carefully with acrylic paint. Grey is a good choice as black can be too harsh

A wooden plate holder is ideal to hold the sign through out the day

Enjoy making your sign & dont forget to send us pics of yours when its made!
